Senior Data Science Engineer
Turn behavioral science research into the production ML systems at the core of our product.
About the role
WethosAI is an enterprise AI company applying behavioral science to executive decision-making. As a Senior Data Science Engineer you'll sit at the intersection of research and production: turning behavioral and psychometric models into deployable systems, and building the pipelines that keep them sharp as we ship.
What you'll do
Design and own end-to-end ML pipelines that power our core product features.
Operationalize psychometric and behavioral models from our research team: embeddings, propensity models, latent-trait inference.
Build evaluation harnesses that hold model outputs to a scientific bar, not just an engineering one.
Partner with product to ship features that are statistically honest about uncertainty.
Mentor on data quality, experimental design, and reproducibility across the team.
What we're looking for
5+ years building production ML systems. Bonus if any of that was inside behavioral science, psychometrics, or organizational research.
Fluency in Python and the modern data stack (pandas / Polars, PyTorch, scikit-learn, dbt or equivalent).
Strong intuition for when to reach for a foundation model and when a simple Bayesian model is the right answer.
Comfort working closely with LLMs as a substrate, not a magic box: prompt engineering, tool use, evals, fine-tuning.
A bias toward shipping, and a discipline for measuring what you ship.
Nice to have
Background in I/O psychology, computational social science, or behavioral economics.
Experience with agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, custom orchestration).
Published research or open-source contributions in any of the above.
