This page defines the terms used across WethosAI. Where the product shows a different label for the same thing, the label is given in brackets so you can find it on screen.
The company and the category
WethosAI. The company and the platform. One word.
Human Context Platform. What WethosAI is: a platform that models the specific people, relationships and organizational context involved in consequential decisions, so organizations can rehearse how people might respond before acting. How WethosAI works.
Human context. Information about how a specific person tends to think and operate: prior decisions, priorities, communication patterns, incentives and the business context around them. For a Permissioned Twin, the person and their organization approve it. For an Observed Twin, it is drawn from customer-approved organizational context and relevant publicly available professional information.
Who takes part in a Decision Simulation
Twin. An AI model of a specific person. It captures patterns in how they take in information, weigh a decision, communicate and respond. There are two kinds, a Permissioned Twin and an Observed Twin, and both are for preparation and rehearsal, not impersonation.
Permissioned Twin (product label: Twin). A Twin the person builds themselves, with their consent. They choose what it learns from and decide whether it stays active, and it exists only with their permission. Twins: creating and training yours.
Observed Twin (product label: Virtual Member). A model of a specific real person who has not created a Permissioned Twin, built from customer-approved organizational context and relevant publicly available professional information. It is less detailed than a Permissioned Twin and it does not create one. If the person later builds a Permissioned Twin, it takes the Observed Twin's place. Observed Twins (Virtual Members).
Expert Agent (product label: Expert). An AI agent with skills in a defined area of work, such as finance, security or legal. It can analyze, advise or challenge within its skill set. It does not represent a real person. Expert Agents (Utilizing Experts).
Profile. A description of how a person tends to take in information, weigh a decision and work with others. You build your own when you join. It is not a personality type and it is not a score. The four dimensions behind a profile.

What you do
Decision Simulation (product label: Simulated Brainstorm, sometimes AutoBrainstorm). A test of a decision against the people involved, before acting. It brings together Permissioned Twins, Observed Twins and Expert Agents to surface likely questions, resistance, alignment, tradeoffs and execution risk. It shows plausible responses, not exact predictions. Running a Decision Simulation.
Decision Rehearsal. What you do inside a Decision Simulation: try an approach to a conversation, recommendation, rollout or decision, see where friction is likely, adjust and run it again.
Human Control Validation. The use of Decision Simulation to test controls that depend on a person, such as an approval, a verification step or an escalation, under changing pressure. Human Control Validation.
The AI assistant
XO. The AI assistant inside WethosAI. It knows your profile, the documents and conversations in the space you are asking from, and the people you name. Use it to prepare for decisions, meetings and difficult conversations. Understanding and using XO.
XO Facilitator. A setting that lets XO speak up in a Brainstorm on its own, for example to correct a factual mistake or point out a question nobody answered.
Workspaces
Brainstorm. A workspace for working through one decision with a chosen set of people, with XO taking part. Decision Simulations run inside Brainstorms. Brainstorms, Breakouts and Decision Simulations.
Breakout. A smaller conversation inside a Brainstorm for a side question. Its results can be published back to the Brainstorm.
Group. The workspace an admin sets up for a set of people, such as a leadership team or a project. Brainstorms live inside groups. A Core Group is a standing group; a Project Group is set up for one initiative. Creating a Core Group.
Shared conversation. A conversation inside a group that all its members can see, with XO available. Persistent and shared conversations.
Artifacts. The documents attached to a Brainstorm, so XO and every participant can refer to them.
Decisions Hub. The record of decisions made in a Brainstorm, each linked to the moment in the conversation that produced it. The Decisions Hub.
Accounts and access
Admin. A person who manages the organization's account: adds people, assigns licenses, creates groups and sees overall platform usage. Admins cannot read anyone's private conversations. Privacy: who can see what.
License. A seat on the platform.
Sync Point. A Google Drive or Microsoft 365 folder or file connected to WethosAI so its contents stay current. Google Drive integration.
